Zusammenfassung:In known slatted bases, the upper slats are assigned lower slats which prevent the mattress from sagging. In this case, the upper slat deflects in a first bending region on its own and in a second bending region together with the lower slat. By means of the slatted base according to the invention, a high degree of lying comfort is achieved at reduced production cost. For this purpose, the upper slats (1) consist of profiled bars which are open at the bottom, are U shaped, are curved upwards and are made of fibre-reinforced plastic. The lower supporting slats (4), which consist of straight profiled bars with approximately rectangular cross-section, are arranged therebelow, plunging from below into the upper slats (1). As a result of this configuration of slats and supporting slats, a very high degree of adaptation during deflection is achieved, without complicated, laterally tiltable slat holders being necessary.
