Zusammenfassung:	The retainer is for a lamp (1) in a reflector opening (2) of a vehicle headlamp, with a collar (3) produced from sheet metal and surrounding the reflector opening, in which from the outside of the reflector (4) the lamp is insertable and locatable with its socket (5) on a locating surface (6). Holding members (7,8) are provided on the collar, between which and the locating surface the socket is retainable in the insert direction (10) of the lamp.At least one holding member is sprung, engages automatically behind the socket in the insert position of the lamp, and has a handle (9) for releasing the connection between the socket and the reflector, which is pressable outwards radially to the insert direction.
