(I) is obtd. by the alkoxide sol-gel process with a water deficit in the hydrolysis of silicic esters and/or derivs. or consists of non-hydrolysed ester and is in the form of mol.-disperse or colloidal-disperse soln. with particle sizes less than 50 nm, which penetrates the asbestos (material) better then colloidal-disperse solns.
