Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:	An electro-motor assembly to drive the spindle (1) of a textile machine, esp. a spinner, has a rotor (3) keyed to the spindle shaft (1) rotating in the magnetic field of a stator (4). A detection system (6-8) to register the speed and/or position of the rotor (3) has a fixed Hall sensor (8) and at least one permanent magnet (7) coupled to the rotor movement. The detection system has a number of magnetic zones round the periphery, offset with alternating polarity without pole gaps. The evaluation system for the Hall sensor has a discrimination unit for the hysteresis characteristics of the Hall sensor signals with a positive and a negative threshold switch value, each being lower than the value of the working signal amplitude overlaid by a noise signal, but higher than the amplitude of the noise signal.
