Zusammenfassung:	Mfr. of a web of paper or board with a multi-layer head box having at least two chambers (3, 6) into which different stock streams (3, 6) are pumped under pressure, and out of which at least two superimposed layers (4, 7) with regulated specific weight pass to the forming part of the machine is new. Means (8, 9) are provided for controllably varying the properties or amount of at least one of the stock streams from the head box and local variations in one of the stock streams (6) for a layer (7) lying at the outside of the web are used for the control of at least one property which serves as a specific quality index for this layer of the formed paper or board.
