Zusammenfassung:	Described is a lower cutter (1) for the head (SK), also fitted with an upper cutter (2), of an electric razor (4). The lower cutter has several parallel blades (5) formed between notches (7) in a flat-section bar (6), essentially at right angles to the longitudinal axis of the bar, the bottoms (8) of the notches (7) being rounded. The blade thickness (D) decreases from the apex (SP) of the curve at the bottom of each notch (7) to the line (SL) joining the points of the blades. The reduction in blade thickness (D) extends from the point (SP) over a distance (B) which is greater than half the distance (A) between two adjacent blades along the line (SL).
