Zusammenfassung:	A cheap, compact radar equipment measures the range to a target and the relative speed of the target. The apparatus has a transmitter for transmitting a pulsed signal and a receiver for receiving a pulsed signal which is reflected by the target. The received signal is converted into a binary signal which is sampled by a sampler and is accumulated in a cumulative memory unit. The addresses of the memory unit correspond to an interval between the transmission and the reception of the pulsed signal. The range and the relative speed of the target are calculated, at high speed, on the basis of the interval. The apparatus carries out a large number of accumulation operations, as a result of which the signal to noise ratio is improved and a weakly reflected signal can be quickly detected.
