Verwendung von Lactamverbindungen als pharmazeutische Wirkstoffe

Use of lactams of formula (I) in racemic or optically active form as pharmaceutical agents is new: X = CH2, S or Se; R = 1-6C alkyl or benzyl; Z, Z' = CH2 or CO, but not both CH2. Also claimed are cpds. (Ia) which are the same as (I), except that X is not S when Z = CO , and Z' = CH2.
