Zusammenfassung:	A tank lorry has a tank container which extends in the longitudinal axis of the vehicle and is designed such that it is not compression-proof. In a front region the tank container has a smaller vertical diameter than in a rear region. In the front region the tank container rests either on a tractor or on a bogie. The vertical diameter of the tank container is reduced in the front region by virtue of the fact that on the lower side of the tank container a container segment is cut out and is reinserted at the same point inverted with the bulge inwards. The cross-sectional opening to the rear region of the tank container is preferably closed by a top/bottom part cut out in the same manner.
