Zusammenfassung: | Flexible cellulose fibres with reduced modulus and NMR degree of order, esp. suitable for textile applications, are mfd. by urging solns. of cellulose in water-contg. N-methyl morpholine-N-oxide through spinnerets and then via an air stretching stage in an aq. and/or alcoholic pptn. bath contg. N-methyl morpholine-N-oxide, followed by the usual washing, post-treatment and drying steps. The fibres have a strength of 15-50 cN/tex and an initial modulus less than 1500 cN/tex, whilst the C-NMR spectrum for the dissolved solid shows a height ratio for the peaks above the spectrum base line at 88 and 85 ppm (C4 region) less than or equal to a value of one. The method for the prepn. of the fibres is also claimed, in which certain hydrophilic, low mol., organic additives soluble in the polymer soln. are added to the spinning soln. and the pptn. bath. These additives are amines, amides or other substances contg. amino gps.. |
