Mudguard for motor vehicle

The mudguard has a lobe main body (4) of elastic material, on which an adaptation extension (5) is formed. A metal strip (7) is fixed to the edge (6) of the adaptation extension and there are two spaced apart clamp parts (10) formed at right-angles to the main direction of the metal strip. On the clamp parts gripper parts engage behind the mudguard rabbet (2). The metal strip for forming of each clamp part is quadruply angled with a U-shaped cross-section. The part of the clamp extending at right-angles to the main direction of the metal strip has two free ending arms (12,13). The extension on the clamp engagement part is somewhat V-shaped and has a free-ending operating arm.
