Zusammenfassung:	The front end structure of a vehicle is designed for safety in the event of a crash. The connection surfaces (9,10) of the front crossmember (3) and the crossbeam connections (15,16) lie at the same height. The front crossmember has a U-shaped profile whose bar (6) runs vertically and whose shanks (7,8) are bent into position to form the connection surfaces (9,10).The front axle crossbeam connections are provided on the vertically extending bar. The U-shaped profile is open towards the front.
