Process for producing decorated glass ceramic articles or glass articles and glass ceramic articles or glass articles produced by this process

Process for producing decorated glass ceramic articles or glass articles, in which the decoration (decor) lies either in depressions on the glass ceramic or glass substrate, or in which the decoration is formed by removal of material and/or depressions in the surface of the glass ceramic substrate, wherein a) to the substrate, at those points which later correspond to the decoration, there is applied a substance based on screen printing oil which reacts with the substrate at temperatures > 600 DEG C and in the process forms a reaction product which can be removed from the substrate, b) this reaction product is removed and subsequently c) the depressions formed in the surface region of the substrate after the removal of the reaction product can be filled with decoration paint and d) the decoration paint can be fired at the temperature suitable for it.
