Zusammenfassung:	A vacuum furnace for brazing aluminium with a brazing metal which contains magnesium, in which vaporised magnesium is oxidised in the furnace before the brazed aluminium parts are removed and/or the temperature of a movable wall, which serves to control the connection between a vacuum pump and a heating chamber during the heating, and that of an inner surface of the heating chamber are kept above a fixed temperature at which vaporised magnesium does not adhere, and/or a heating element which is electrically operated, and electrodes which serve to electrically operate the heating element, which are component parts of a heating device for heating the aluminium parts and the brazing metal, are hermetically sealed and are isolated from the inside of the heating chamber.
