Zusammenfassung:	In a calender arrangement for treating a material web (1) in a roll nip (4) formed by a pair of press rolls (2, 3), at least one roll (3) is heated. Before and/or after the roll nip (4) there is at least one further roll (8, 9, 14), which can be introduced into the run of the material web (1) in such a manner that the wrap angle of the material web (1) around the heated press roll (3) is increased. In this way, simple and rapid threading of the material web is made possible. In addition, the heat losses from the heated roll are reduced.
