Zusammenfassung:	The structure has lengthwise beams (2,6) at front and rear, and lateral lengthwise beams at passenger space. The lateral beams (4) are of trough-section open towards the middle of the car. They extend for the length of the passenger space, and are joined to the respective front and rear beams. Each lateral beam can comprise outer and inner shells joined together at intervals in the lengthwise direction by pot-shaped components. Each upright (10) can comprise three shells, the middle one forming a reinforcing member and extending into the bottom of the respective lateral beam.
