The device has a turning shaft (1), connected to a connecting rod (3), and this is connected joint-like with one end to a block (4). The block moves on a plane above a connection bar between two vehicles. The other end of the connecting rod carries a toothed gearing (7), the teeth of which mesh with the teeth (8) of a similar gearing on a fork. The fork acts on the shaft of a bogie, the wheel-set of which is used by two vehicles. The toothed gearings form a reversing mechanism, to transmit the rotary movement of the connecting rod, and the shaft connected to it, to the fork. The shaft moves between two positions, one blocking and one release position. USE/ADVANTAGE - Single quick and simple actuation inside vehicle causes simultaneous blocking of connection between vehicles, and their connection to the wheel-set.
