Zusammenfassung:	Tiltable converter has spaced carrying ring (2) surrounding converter vessel (1), including two diametrically opposed carrying trunnions (3,4). The vessel is exclusively supported on the carrying ring by guide rods (5,6,7) in the form of pendulum rods, each being connected by means of a spherical bearing (9) in a universally articulated manner to the carrying ring at one end and the vessel at the other. All the rods are arranged exclusively on the lower side of the ring with the converter vessel upright.
