Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to a cryomedical probe for therapy of severe chronic painful states of the trigeminal nerve, i.e. of trigemina neuralgia. It is the object of the invention to provide a cryomedical probe which permits the performance of a percutaneous treatment of genuine trigeminal neuralgia. According to the invention, a probe having a diameter < 3 mm is provided with a vacuum insulation up to the region of the probe tip, and liquid nitrogen flows through the probe tip.
