Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a supporting bow for a folding top (soft top) of a vehicle, in particular a corner strut which, for the purpose of tensioning a folding-top cloth secured on the front and rear edge, can be moved up into a tensioning position acting upon the folding-top cloth, the supporting bow, which is mounted on its lateral limbs, being transferable into its tensioning position by means of two operating elements which can be changed in length axially, and the operating elements, which are arranged mirror-symmetrically on opposite sides of the vehicle, cooperating with that limb of the supporting bow which is assigned to them. In order for it to be possible for the operating elements to be arranged relatively flexibly and for problem-free, safe operation of the corner strut to be possible, hydraulic cylinders which operate synchronously are provided as operating elements.
