Zusammenfassung: | A coil (1) serves to produce an alternating magnetic field (2), one partial region of which serves as a measurement field (5) in which a specimen (6) to be examined can be positioned. This specimen can be examined with regard to dielectric properties. Moisture-level measurements can furthermore be carried out. The coil has a winding which is connected to an AC voltage source (9) and has at least two terminals, the first terminal being at a low potential (L) which is earthed or close to earth and the second terminal being at a high potential (H) which is higher than the low potential. In the case of a multilayer winding, the winding layer (8) connected to L potential faces the measurement magnetic field (5) which is produced and further winding layers follow on in layers towards the rear end. The individual winding layers are in this case designed virtually as disc windings. The last winding layer, remote from the magnetic field (5) is connected to the high potential (H) of the AC voltage source. By virtue of this winding design, a geometrical field separation between the alternating magnetic field and the electric field is achieved and mutual interference can thereby be reduced as far as possible. |
