Zusammenfassung: | In a turbo-machine which works as an energy exchanger with isochoric combustion and which consists essentially of a rotor (1) with cells (2), of a rotor housing enclosing its circumference and of housings (3a, 3b) closing off the end faces of the rotor (1) and having ducts (4), the rotor housing enclosing the circumference is a thin-walled supporting spacer housing (5) which is arranged at a short distance from the rotor (1) and which is encased by a non-supporting insulating housing (6) which reflects thermal radiation, for example is metallised, the axial rotor position being capable of being positioned by a regulating system (7) in such a way that the gap width (8) between the two end faces of the rotor (1) and the housings (3a, 3b) is constant at all the operating points. As a result, the losses can be reduced and the efficiency of the machine increased. |
