Zusammenfassung:A device for monitoring the surface 2 of a body of water with respect to pollution containing luminophores, in particular oil, detergent, fats, chemicals and the like, with the aid of a luminescence sampler 15 which emits modulated ultraviolet light with a wavelength of approximately 365 nm and responds to light with the same modulation frequency in the wavelength range of approximately 450 to 750 nm, the luminescence sampler 15 being fastened on a set of rods arranged on a float 5 and being directed laterally to the float 5 with the optics towards the water surface 2 to be monitored, and a measuring instrument 20 for displaying and/or evaluating the measurement results of the luminescence sampler being provided, is designed such that a firmly arranged guide tube 4 is provided approximately perpendicularly to the water surface 2, along which guide tube the float 5 can be guided, adjustably in height, by means of a guide casing 6, such that an immersion device 7 intended to be motor-actuated is arranged on the float 5, such that a dip tube 16 is arranged in front of the luminescence sampler 15 in the direction of the water surface 2 to be monitored, which dip tube dips into the water surface 2 to be monitored and is subsequently withdrawn from the latter, and such that the evaluation instrument 20 is electrically connected to the motor 13 in order to control the latter, as well as to the luminescence sampler 15 for displaying the measured values.
