The basic unit, which can be assembled in different manners to form strong rigid partitions, is made from a metal sheet bent into a U shape, each leg of the U terminating in a return flange. These units can be assembled side by side, back to back or to form multiple interlocking combinations. Variations on the basic design can include auxiliary small horizontal flanges at top and bottom, and a right angled design, also terminating in return flanges. Side by side or back to back units can be connected to trough shaped top or bottom members. Multiple units can be interconnected to form a system of partitions at right angles.
