Zusammenfassung:	The aim is to improve a heat exchanger having a flow path for each of the fluids participating in the heat exchange, which heat exchanger has one or more passages formed by plates arranged at a spacing from one another, having a feed line and a discharge line for a first fluid, which are connected to one of the flow paths, and having a mixing device for a second fluid which is arranged in a second flow path. The second fluid is present in a gaseous and a liquid phase. This mixing device has separate feed lines for each of the two phases. In order in the case of high pressure loadability to guarantee uniform mixing and distribution of the two-phase fluid with a simple outlay on apparatus, it is proposed as mixing device in each passage of the second flow path to arrange small tubes, which proceed from the feed line for one of the two phases and lead to the mixing space, in the region through which the other one of the two phases flows to the mixing space.
