Air-conditioning system motor vehicle interior - adjusts temp. and flow of air by computerised control of flaps for windscreen defrosting and passenger compartment heating

Zusammenfassung: | The air conditioning system has a ventilation fan (120) which drives inducted air (111) through a compressor (130) into a heat exchanger (140) in which a distribution flap (134) divides the air flow between two parallel ducts (113,114). One duct leads to a defrosting air inlet (180) equipped with a flap (190) for redirecting the warmed air to an inlet (170) in the vehicle foot-well. A computer (200) operates the flaps in response to measurements of exterior air temp. (220) and of temp. (222) in the interior compartment (22). Linear sliders or control knobs are grouped together on a panel (300). USE/ADVANTAGE - In motor vehicles of all types. Simple system achieves rapid and optimal adjustment of defrosting and de-icing with aid of single control or operation selector. |
