Zusammenfassung: | A gas mask (1) comprises a set of inlet channels (4) for incoming breathing air, a filter (10) and a separate exhalation channel (5) for exhalation air. The channels (4) comprise in lot branches (6, 7) directed to the sides of the mask, of which one can be provided with a filter (10), if desired, and the other one can be closed by a closure (11). Using this arrangement, the same mask can be provided to suit either a right-handed or a left-handed wearer. The branches (6, 7) are joined together on the vertical center line of the mask into one vertical channel (8) which divides the incoming air essentially evenly to the area of windows (3) of the mask. The windows are maintained clean from condensing humidity with the aid of the air flow. When branches (6, 7) are joined together into one channel (8) directly on top of channel (5), the exhalation air can be arranged to heat the incoming air with the aid of a heat-conducting metal partition 14. |
