Zusammenfassung: | Sliding guides are, at the present time, lubricated in that a pump sucks up the lubricant and feeds it to at least one metering valve or piston distributor and the latter forces the preselected lubricant quantity under pressure to the sliding guide to be lubricated. A high consumption of lubricant is noticeable and the disadvantage of insufficient lubrication and of seizing occurs repeatedly. These disadvantages are to be avoided by means of a device of simple construction which is to be capable of being retrofitted on existing lubricating systems. According to the invention, between each piston distributor (11) and the sliding guide (12) to be lubricated is arranged an air valve (1) which has a lubricant-inlet conduit (4) connected to the piston distributor (11), a compressed-air inlet conduit (6) connected to a compressed-air source and an outlet conduit (5) extending to the sliding guide (12). |
