Photoelectric monitor system for detecting irregularities in moving yarn(s)

The system has a liq. crystal diaphragm (6,8) with matrix type liq. crystal units (12) between the light source and the light receiver at the path of the light beam bundle. They are set by a control circuit (13,14,19,20) to give an adjusted diaphragm configuration.
