An evaporator (13) and a heater (14) are also contained in the housing, which has a defroster (17) and foot-well (19) outlets, and flaps (25-27) controlling the air supply to them.A passage (20) between the defroster opening and the suction side of the fan can be shut off by one or more flaps (21,27). This passage can be alongside a fresh-air opening (15) in the housing, while a flap shuts off one or the other and can be adjusted to an intermediate position.
