Addition products of 1. epoxides of unsaturated carboxylic acid esters (e.g epoxides of vegetable oils or transesterification products of vegetable oils with monohydric alcohols) and 2. dialkyl or diary or alkyl/aryl dithiophosphoric acids, are useful for improving the properties of lubricants.
