The roller conveyor (6) and the intermediate rolling train (5) are multi-strand (1,2,3) and at least the front section of the roller conveyor (6) is laterally movable so that each strand (1,2,3) can be aligned with the rolling strand (8) of the roughing train (4). USE/ADVANTAGE - Provides a rolling line for wire rod or sections with means of decoupling single strand roughing and multi-strand intermediate rolling trains, which is economical in investment and operating costs.
