Date May 26, 1994The invention relates to a shoulder-joint endoprosthesis comprising a glenoid joint socket having a rearward part which has a porous structure for attachment to the shoulder blade. The socket is dished and substantially pear shaped. A humeral joint socket is fixed to the humerus by way of an intramedullary prosthesis stem. A joint ball is disposed between the glenoid joint socket and the humeral joint socket so as to be freely movable.
