Zusammenfassung:The engine (10) has at least one cylinder (10/1) containing a reciprocating piston (10/3) attached to a piston rod (10/10) coupled to the crankshaft, with a spark plug (11) incorporated in the cylinder head (10/4). The spark plug of at least one engine cylinder is adjusted via a setting device (14). The setting adjustment of the spark plug is calculated via a microprocessor (15), receiving a signal from a sensor (16) monitoring a given engine operating parameter. Pref. the position of the spark path is adjusted in dependence on the detected engine operating parameter. ADVANTAGE - Ensures optimum combustion of fuel/air mixture.
