Zusammenfassung:	A disk brake assembly has a baseplate (1) for the friction pad (2) with a warning sensor clamped to the baseplate to indicate pad wear. The clamp has two legs which clip over each side of the baseplate, the front leg (5) lying flush on the surface within a slot (8) in the brake pad, the rear leg snapping into a recess on the back of the plate. The clip is plastic and has the sensor moulded within it. At the outside edge of the baseplate, the clamp has locating lips (12, 13). ADVANTAGE- Has electrical contact for warning of brake wear, and uses detachable sensor which is inexpensive to mfr.
