Zusammenfassung:The two leaves of the forceps are fitted at their distal ends with a spoon (12, 14) each, where facing inner sides (44, 45) can be laid against the child's head. The shape of the inside of at least one spoon is variable, pref. during the birth. Typically also the rise of the spoon inside can be varied, as well as its contour. The spoon inside(s) may have a shape-variable inlay (46), pref. with a cavity filled with liq. or gaseous medium, while the vol. and/or shape of the cavity may be also variable. ADVANTAGE - Provides for reduced surface pressure at same traction force.
