Zusammenfassung:	The arrangement contains a channel (1) in the cutting region of the cutting tool with an opening towards the temp. measurement point on the workpiece side. Heat from the measurement point passes along the channel and is detected by a thermal camera. The channel opening facing the workpiece can be arranged in the cutting (5) and/or free (6) surface of the tool. This opening is completely covered by a film (4) of diamond or similar material which passes thermal radiation. USE/ADVANTAGE - The arrangement achieves delay-free measurement of the temp. of at least one of the two contact surfaces without hindering the machining process.
