The support (2) is moved up and down in the boat (11), and incorporates an adjustment for the stroke of the paddle (25).It can be coupled to a manually-operated rocker beam (5), and the paddle can be secured to it by a detachable locking device. It can pass through a guide in the hull, and the beam can form a bench, on which the user stands, kneels or sits. The stroke can be adjustable by stops, typically consisting of pins adjustable in guides in the support.
