Zusammenfassung:	A two cycle i. c. engine adjusted to a certain maximum engine speed at a correct fuel mixture ratio is provided with an electrically adjustable fuel system and a tachometer. The invention is based on the fact that the engine speed is at its maximum at a mixture ratio which provides a carbon monoxide emission below normal. At the maximum engine speed the adjustment of the carburetor is optimized in relation to the mixture ratio by means of a control circuit.
