Zusammenfassung:The assembly station (8) in the line assembles a component part (3-6) onto the base part (7). The workpiece carrier (1,2) holds the base part and the component parts in a predetermined position for assembly, all identical component parts being at the same distance from the base part. The feed movement of the workpiece carrier is derived from a cylindrical cam (9) having a spiral track with two stop positions (10, 11). ADVANTAGE - Assembly movements are very simple, permitting fast and reliable assembly.
