Liquid separator for separation of liquid from gases permeated by liquid constituents, including a housing (1) having at least three orifices, the orifices being formed by a tubular entry orifice (2) and two tubular exit orifices (3, 4), which are flow-connected to each other, at least one separating apparatus (6) being arranged between the entry (2) and the exit orifices (3, 4) in the direction of flow, essentially only separated-off liquid being able to flow through one of the exit orifices (3) and essentially only liquid-free gas being able to flow through the other exit orifice (4). The housing (1) is designed as a jacketed pipe (7) with the entry orifice (2) and the exit orifices (3, 4), the jacketed pipe (7) enclosing an internal pipe (8) with a space on the exterior on all sides. The internal pipe (8) is on the one hand flow-connected to the entry orifice (2) and on the other hand is assigned to the exit orifice (3) for the separated-off liquid.
