Zusammenfassung:In a plastic laminate 2n layers of liquid crystal polymer with rod-shaped molecules are laid up together in n pairs; at least the preponderance of the rod molecules in the individual layers are orientation lines in each individual layer are at a set angle to each other and preferably at the same (or nearly) angle for all the pairs of layers. ADVANTAGE - The laminate has a coefficient of thermal expansion which can be adjusted individually to a set level. It is partic. suitable for use as casings for integrated circuits. The prodn. process is inexpensive.
