Zusammenfassung:	Longitudinal cuts are made in a web 4, e.g. of wrapping foil, by a rotating knife 30 which cooperates with but is slightly axially spaced from the end face of a roller 22 or on one side face of a groove (24, figure 3) formed in roller 8. The peripheral speed of roller 22 may exceed that of roller 17 carrying the knife. The web is transversely cut and transversely perforated by blades 6t and 6i. Rollers 8 and 17 are provided with suction holes 11 and 171.
