Filler valve for bottle filling machine with sliding tube - which can be moved axially to enable cleaning fluid to flow through gap between tube and valve body

A bottle filling machine has a number of filler heads which project downwards from the bottom (1) of the tank with bottle filling liq. The filler head has a valve formed by a valve head (7) and the outlet (9) of the tube (8).The valve head is formed on the lower end of the air return flow tube (5). The valve tube is fitted inside the valve body (3) and the radial gap between the tube and body is normally sealed by sealing rings (12,13,14). In order to clean the valve, the tube can be pushed upwards against a spring (19) so that the sealing rings enter the space (30) formed by the larger inside dia. of the body. A cleaning liq., such as hot water or disinfectant can then flow through the radial gap. ADVANTAGE - Simple cleaning of the filler valves,as well as of the adjacent spaces.
