Zusammenfassung:	The heater comprises a burner (1) and an injection system (4) delivering fuel at a variable rate. At least under part-load the fuel is injected intermittently and at regular intervals. Injection can be by pressure pulses, whose frequency is varied by a stop valve (8). There can be a non-return valve (10) between the stop valve and the injector (2), and whose closing pressure is variable. Upstream of the stop valve a low-pressure accumulator (7) can be connected to the fuel feed pipe (5). A high-pressure accumulator (12) can be connected to the high-pressure fuel pipe (11) between the injector and the stop valve or non-return one. USE/ADVANTAGE - More accurate fuel metering to vehicle heater without the danger of the burner going out.
