Zusammenfassung:The frame has a telescopic spine which is formed by two square section tubes (11, 12) and which can be extended or closed by a leadscrew (3). On the two halves of the spine are welded two ribs (1, 2) which are bent at the outer ends to form a U-shape with sloping sides. On each rib is a fixed hook (4) and two outer hooks (5) which are adjustable along the rib to suit springs of differenmt size. The hooks engage with the coils of the spring, which can then be compressed by winding the leadscrew. USE/ADVANTAGE - Simple, low-cost design. Spring axis remains straight.
