Zusammenfassung:	A curve cutting device for cutting a textile web (TB) has a cutting head (10), a driving device (2) for moving the cutting head (10) and an optoelectronic sensing device (23 to 28) for the position of the cutting head (10). To allow textile webs which in the state of the art could only be manually processed to be automatically processed as well, the curve cutting device has three light barriers (24, 26; 23, 27; 23, 28) whose light rays generate light spots (L1, L2, L3) on the plane of the textile web. At least two of the light spots lie on one side of the cutting spot (SP), in relation to the direction of transport (LR) of the textile web (TB), and at least one light spot (L3) lies on the other side of the cutting spot (SP), in relation to its direction of transport (LR).
