The gap (17) between the metal tube (2) and the liner (5) is filled with a medium (19) that is capable, under the operating conditions of the flowmeter, of flowing. The medium having the ability to flow provides a reliable support for the liner should excess pressure and partial vacuum occur in the flow-through channel (6). The liner (5) can therefore be kept very thin. |
