Zusammenfassung:A deflashing tool for plastics has a shaped blade which inserts in a bore in a holder and rotates about the bore axis. The blade is locked in position in the holder by a spring-loaded mechanism. The blade and holder assembly are mounted on a slide moving along a linear path and attached via a flange to a robot. Control of the slide is achieved by a pneumatic cylinder via a proportional valve. USE/ADVANTAGE - The tool is used for removing flash from plastic mouldings and can be automatically controlled by a robot.
