Zusammenfassung:Dielectric fluid comprises a mixt. of deionised water and polyols or satd. aliphatic hydrocarbons with an amt. of aromatic hydrocarbons and an additive present in an amt. of 1 wt. % and comprising one or more satd. aliphatic hydrocarbons of higher polarisation. The fluid pref. contains satd. aliphatic hydrocarbons with organic substances as additives, the carbon atoms being bonded to each other by multiple bonds, or the molecular structure contains a further element, apart from carbon and hydrogen, but no homocyclic monocyclic 6C rings. The fluid can alternatively contain satd. aliphatic hydrocarbon and inorganic, electrically conductive particles of grain size less than approx. 1.0 micron, pref. BaSO4 pigment. USE/ADVANTAGE - For metal processing by spark erosion. A high removal performance with simultaneously low electrode wear is achieved using the flui
